Come here to talk about your struggles or triumphs with Tourette's. Feel free to share any advice or discoveries you've made that help calm you down during an episode, or just the little misconceptions about our disorder that irk you to no end.

Someone may feel free to sticky this if they'd like, I'd just like there to be a safe haven for those of us with Tourette's.

I was diagnosed with tourette syndrome as a kid with Gilles de la Tourettes. I have gone through many episodes of vocal tics and motor tics These days it almost entirely just motor tics, but the few vocal tics I have tend to often happen during myoclonic seisures, which kind of feel like an electric shock.
