So I abused adderall once when I was younger when I was working. When stress started to hit I froze into this catatonic stupor, couldn't talk or think.
However with Adderall when not under stress, I am pretty good with talking and schoolwork...Should I just go to the doctor and figure this out?

I might go anyway just for confirmation of what I am.

I'm not sure what your question is, but yeah - go see a doctor.

I guess I am asking what happened and why did I zone out under stress?

interesting... what makes it interesting, is.. i too zone out under stress. it's like i'm there one moment, then all of the sudden i just disconnect, like someone flipped a switch. the looks i get when i do come back though  . unfortunately i don't have an answer to this, but would like to know the answer as well.

I was diagnosed with A.D.D. as a child. Don't remember if i took that medication though. hopped between a few different medications when i was little. never abused any of them, but i did become mildly addicted/dependent on one of them, and i forget which one it was.
*edit*
i should note that I've not been on medication since I was in 6th grade. my high school GPA confirms it,

Yeah, it is like somebody flipped a switch. I was getting yelled at but I felt no stimuli. I looked at the clock and thirty minutes went by.

Yep, sounds like me. just staring a hole into whatever I'm looking at, with no awareness what-so-ever to the goings on around me. words can't describe how annoying it can be sometimes. :x
