I was just looking through the link by DrowningMedusa. I found it interesting, I also feel better since I have a anxiety, about somehow accidentally calling someone from a foreign country a offensive term without realizing it. So now it's like, I know what not to say.
They mentioned that Moishe was used as a term in Argentina, to describe Jews..like that alot of them were named Moishe. There was a holiday episode of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, where they had a imaginary Menorah character named Moishe. He'd keep annoying Bloo, by reminding him that Jewish kids get 8 days for Hannukah, where Christmas is only 1 day. It's funnier now that I get what the name was a reference to.
