Alright, mkay, thursday I made a sketch during my PE period.

Like it?

EDIT: Oh, and it's a self portrait, kida, but with the usual exaggerations of anime.

^_^ I really really like it! Especially the anime style of the drawing!

That's really good! My own realistic drawings stink; they look like cartoons; I'm better at fantasy characters.

During your PE period? You didn't have to take PE? Tell me how.

The sketch is pretty good (better than I can draw). I like the anime/manga style.

That's pretty bad, I mean, even for manga. The proportions are way off.

I'm a scientst, not an art critic, but it is a decent sketch. Try making the hair not so flat on the head next time. It appears that the hair is wet and almost plastered onto the character's head. It will take work to improve your skills and control with your drawing implement, but you have a decent start.

Advice: Practice. Practice sketching people in different positions. Practice drawing your hand or your foot or another object that can be made inanimate (or already is).

I can say that you've done quite well with a self portrait. Although I can draw well, I have a terrible time attempting to draw humans and animals because they don't follow precise geometric patterns. I can draw things like buildings, cars, etc very well. I drew a really nice drawing of a beach with cottages and buildings in it. There's very sparce people in the drawing, and the ones I drew are intentionally far away, as I have such a time trying to get proportions and perspective right, especially when it comes to shading to create depth. You've done a great job with mastering that so far. A little more practice, and and you will be able to communitcate emotions and other nuances in your drawings.

...BTW, don't take some of the criticizms by others here harshly or personally....It all is a bit of constructive criticism to help. I know how challenging drawing is, and wish someone could coach me sometime
