Last Night I was speaking to a friend. We talked about our favorite colors: Mine red, Her's Blue. I could describe both colors with words. She said her second favorite was black. I said that black reminded me of individuality, and she said that I made sense.

I then described white as being: light, warm, comfortable and pleasing. She said it reminded her of plain, sanitary and boring. I said that I never criticized a single color and that we must sub-conciously percieve colors. She liked my unique way of thinking.

Would you say that all colors are beautiful and exhibit individuality?

Blue.

Sadness/depression is associated with that color. For instance when someone is down, they might say: "I am blue."

Individuality can sometimes lead to sadness; and I think through that, blue has become the international color standing for a single person/place/thing.

I like Red, because it reminds me of happiness. It reminds me of the cliche, "Jolly Olde London." It also reminds my of the smiling Routemasters. It also reminds me of Santa, and Coca Cola. :D

I would say that all colors contribute in a unique way. I go through liking one color to the exlusivity of all others, like one winter I carried a red purse, wore a red fleece jacket, etc. Then it was orange. Now I'm leaving green and leaning toward yellow. The only colors I'm not really crazy about, are brown and lilac. When I was little, I would get upset if anyone rearranged the crayons in my crayon box, because I had it all worked out according to color.

You would be surprised to hear this, but purple is one of my favourite colours, though all the colours are interesting. I suppose it breaks away from my typical sensibility and is a lot more creative than I usually am.

Though if I had to decribe myself as a colour, I would probably choose a dark blue or a dark green... or possibly a dark orange. There is a certain appeal to darker colours, especially blue. And orange reminds me of fire.

Blue is different to each person. Saying that you are blue is a figure of speech, or expression. Blue might be pleasing to some or revolting to others.

BLACK IS NOT A COLOUR....*ahem* Anyway, slightly off topic, but I wonder how you would describe colours to a person who has been blind from birth. It always fascinated me.

Blue seems more inviting than red, today.

How about orange? Or navy blue?

My favourite colour is blue, not dark blue though. It's calming and peaceful to me and reminds me of things like the sea, or the sky on a clear day.
