I would say that I get most inspiration by way of my mind. I think my mind plays a big part because my mind speaks to my soul. Its like I have a keen knowledge on how my mind acts. I love Science fiction and I think that anything that it paranormal is a good trigger to great writing abilities.

Space is so amazing to write about! I think about nebulae and travelling eons into space.

What gives you inspiration?

My thoughts are my inspiration for writing, although I don't always have the time for writing.

I would say my mind inspires me. I love the paranormal, and am currently writing a novel of fiction, intended for teens, about a haunted house. Even if I never publish, I have fun writing. :)

My inspiration to write is anything inspirational. It can be anything from a nice walk on the beach to a kick-ass movie to a dream I had the night before. However, when I actually put it down can vary. Hartz, I'm writing what I describe as a five part Science-Fantasy novel that contains elements of Comedy, Drama, Action/Adventure and Romance. It's also got three prolouge sections as well. I'm not sure when it'll be done (probably around 2012), but it's currently about 1/15th the way there with 65,000 words. It's not aimed at anyone in particular, but it'll probably strike hard with teens and adults. Oh, and one of the characters has AS (funny thing is, she's an alien!).

I've been writing since I was 14 and over the past 5 years it's become easy for me I just have to find the right subject. I usually just think of whats happened in the last week of my life.

aspies are good at words, verbal words tend to be rehearsed and memorised, however, i find when i put down thoughts on paper....somethign magical can happen, i can become very clear in my words and my intended meaning is made clearer than any attempt at a verbal explanation.
i think a lot of aspies find this thou.

My writing is mostly inspired by thinking about things and people. Situations that people find themselves in (albeit inadvertantly, it seems), music... these are two of the things that inspire me to write.

I have a rich imagination and can write good stories.

The thing is, I tend to forget to use paragraphs.

I jot ideas down, then link them together to make an agreeable story to plan and write.

<nod> agreed. I can much more easily write someone a love letter than to actually get all the feelings out verbally. verbally I stumble to put the words together so that I don't look stupid to the other person. Writing, I can edit as many times as I like and read many times before sending the email to be sure I got my point across. I'm frequently misunderstood. Writing helps me to make sure I'm clear on what I mean.

Anything set me into a creative rage for days where I have nothing but the urge to write. I wrote a novel called Sanity's Requiem after seeing the film Jesus Camp. It's about Evalengical Christians becoming just as bad as Muslim Extremists.
