You might remember that I've posted about how some strong emotions were causing me to gravitate towards Junkfood. Those nasty feelings are gone! They've been gone, since I've moved into my own place, a little over half a month ago. The last time that I've eaten a chocolate bar was ten days ago, and I didn't eat any junk for seven days, before that day. I haven't eaten one bag of crisps, over the past eleven days. I've only had bagged popcorn, twice while watching Ugly Betty. I didn't have the pleasure popcorn, last night and I didn't even miss it! I was going to buy a bag of Doritos, after I'm finished putting my tree up. I've asked mysefl, why I should even bother buying the Doritos! I don't feel the urge to chew or munch on junk, because I don't experience that built-up rage or self-pity inside me, that I had before I've moved into my flat! :D

I'm glad that you've found happiness with your new flat. Are you flatting by yourself or with some people? It must be a huge step, i'm glad it turned out for the better.

Congratulations....I think this means your brain chemistry is getting healthier.if you do feel like having a treat sometime....dont get down on yourself,it will only make it worse, just move on.Also, please forgive my preaching but make sure you are getting enough fiber and lots of water and maybe a daily multivitamin?(just somethings that have helped me..... :D )

My whole family has issues with useing food for comfort(as others use drugs, sex, alcohol)Food, especially sweets and other high carb foods actually do change brain chemistry like a drug.

I'm glad that you turned away from junk food. Some people have it every day, and months and years ago I had junk food and wanted it a lot more than I do today. Being careful of what I eat has resulted in a loss of 1.5 stone. (About 10kg) I am hoping to still lose more weight, hopefully the Wii will help. :D

I think the idea of the Wii is brilliant. It looks like a great way for normally sedentary video game players to get their metabolism going.I think it will go further to help over weight kids lose weight then taking soda machines out of schools.I hope we will be getting one soon as the "rush" for them is over(post christmas).
