I am probably pretty desparate But i like listening to mashups!
for those of you who don't know a mashup is 2 song joined together sliced and diced
(in timing of course) an acapella for one song (vocals only) layered on top of an instrumental of another song genres can different.
It works best if the songs are in a similar key. here is an example martha and the muffins: echo beach paired with
classical gas by eric clapton might not exactaly work because classical gas has an odd time signature! There are plenty of rap mashups Those ones are horrible! I think a mashup works best if they are in key and in timing.
