I want to know if it is possible to induce art genious at the age of 18. Because I would like to start, and I have great ideas but I don't practice that often.

Well Jah Wobble only learned to play the bass the month before PIL's debut album was recorded and became one of the most well known bass players about so its possible, get of your lazy ass and get cracking

Indeed its a pity Lydons ego destoryed PIL kicking out Jah Wobble after the second album and Levive after the 3rd.
They could have gone on to be one of the most influental bands of all time but as it is anything after flowers of romance is useless

I think practice is nearly everything. I mean you can have talent, but not get anywhere by not practicing. Or you could have no talent, but learn enough by practicing (and studying techniques) to make quite good art. So, I think, talent is something but practice is a lot more.

did that make sense?

kandinsky never started painting until he was around 30, so i would say it is indeed very possible.

Sort of. As in genuis is 1% inspiration and 99% insipiartion OR 1% talent and 99% practice?
