I've been taking pictures a lot. I mean a lot. I can shoot 3-6 rolls 36 picture 35mm a day when i find motives and I don't know how many 6x6 rolls I have in black and white stashed in my ex's cellar.

How can I put my pictures on display without being ripped of. I just want to start with a few pictures I'm fond of myself.

Neither of the pictures I want to show is manipulated, just raw digital from a 4Mpix camera I used to keep in my pocket wherever I went until I gave the camera to my ex, because she's needing it for her business. I have access to pro-gear to digitalize both 35mm and 6x6 rollfilm for free, ocassionally giving full usage rights to the advertizing company that I use for digitizing the pictures.

According to people living on photography, they seem to wonder why i'm working with computers when I could be a professional photographer, but I take photos to catch a scenery or a moment, and I don't have time to coreograph their style of photographs nor good enough to live on that stuff.

I've seen there's several good artists here. Please help me out. I'm a complete dunno on these things. Or email me directly to xtal <at> telia.com

Do you mean "How do I post pics online, without people downloading them for free?"
I use photoshop, and download pics of interesting cars (Ferraris mostly) all the time. Some websites post their pics in a format where I can't download them by right-clicking. You need a web-site developer to tell you how.

How about showing us a couple fer free??

I gave my ex as a early housewarming / christmas / friendly gift, some photos about A4 size. She went crying when she saw two of the pictures, because they have a very special emothical meaning for her. And I would lie saying aaaaanything except that the photos was carefully planned for different rooms. And their special lights and colour.

The question isn't clear: do you want information on how to publish your photographs on physical paper to sell, to put them into a book format, to have them displayed in an art gallery, to sell them online, to display them online...?
I should be able to help you out with the question IF i know what the question is!

A) being able to upload a JPEG/RAW picture to site.
B) Picture gets renamed from original filename to a running number/whatever/ascii not taking care of date picture was taken, I want a serialized filename.
C) I want a watermark. If somebody likes the picture enough they can pay for a print. I have to pay for camera batteries, electricity, food and so on.
D) a EASY way to just upload a image, getting it thumbnailed etc.. . I've tried three different available OpenSource systems and one commercial system, neither is user friendly! They SUCK bigtime.

DeviantART is able to do this.

Once again, you can use DeviantART to rename a file to a serialized number you make.

Yet again, DeviantART allows you to put up many photos and images up for print which people can pay for (signing up is free also )

DeviantART used a thumbnail system. If you know coding (or at the very least how to put an image into a message), then you can put in an image which is the thumbnail on DeviantART!

To my knowledge, DeviantART is a nice option that fits the bill.

well, visit http://swextal.deviantart.com and say what you think. I drive one of my best friends nuts, 'cos he's a photo phreak, and he just can't understand how I can take pictures with a crappy ixus without a tripod and long shutter speeds, and he has to use remote triggering of his Nikon D70 on a tripole to get the pic. But sometime when I get rich I will try to buy a digital Nikon. I have a F60 with Sigma objectives for 35mm photography and a Kodak mirror reflex camera for 6x6 rolls. But the Ixus is so handy, because it's small.
