Im female.When I was little I went through a tomboy fase.Played race games, wore maleish clothes, played with trucks,etc. Then I grew out of it. He's only five it might just be a fase. But don't dismiss it, he might be trans. I would suggest that you have him see a professional to have him diagnosed. It will put your mind at ease just knowing the truth.

That's normal in young boys when I was little I would dress up in girls clothes (not all the time though) but I grew out of it. It might just be a phase but if not there are many TV/TS support groups that can give advice.
