Can you get an 'epileptic seizure' from a loud noise?
I had a very bad but non-severe experience last night. I'm quite worried for future incidents 8O
I still have a head ache :(

What are the neural effects of loud noises for the Autistic spectrum?
I can't find much on the psychological effects of loud noises besides, pain, discomfort and screaming...(or introspection)
Can someone explain loud noises, in depth. please!

To be honest, I really don't know, but Loud noises make me jump, ( Or spit out mt soda  ) I found something! ( Its not exactly what you are looking for) Many kids or people on the Autistic spectrum get freaked out by loud or sudden noises. I don't know why though :)

I just get really quiet for an hour or two after the loud noise has stopped

In my case loud noises cause migraine and nausea.

I don't really know either, but whenever someone talks to me--most of the time not all that loudly--and i'm all spaced out (which is almost all the time) i get really startled. the kids at school think it's pretty weird...

not from simply loud music, although those are not good for your health in any way, it can affect sleeping and appetite, as an example.

it is easily possible to get an epilleptic attack from sound, but for that, it has to be a fast beat (like in dubstep), or possible a certain frequency; just like visual epillepcy gives seisures based of fast flickering or a certain colour...

I do get seizure-like movements/twitches from loud noises at times.
They usually only last for a few seconds, though it got to the point that my mum actually had me tested for epilepecy, it turned out I don't have actually epilepecy... However, the docter did say stress and anxiaty can at times cause such movements, therefore noises which cause stress as it does with me, can cause this.

Could it be Tourette's Disorder? :)
