From Aspie to NT

When I look into your eyes,
I want to look away.
When you give a loving smile,
Your expression feels the same.
But I'll still be friends with you,
Despite all we've been through.
Because besides, I'm only human.

When you shout a loud noise,
The noise splits my ears.
And when you turn on a spotlight ,
My eyes start to water.
But I'll still be friends with you,
Despite all we've been through.
Because besides, you're only human.

When you greet me with 'how are you?'
I am without words to say.
And when you reach out to touch me,
I want to recoil to my own.
But I'll still be friends with you,
Despite all we've been through,
Because besides, we're only human.

EDIT: Fixed a grammar mistake
DOUBLE EDIT: Re-worded the poem to keep the same rhythm going and, stuff. Also changed the title.

Perfection never stands still, does it?
