For those of you who don't know how to measure your hat size: Measuring for your head size is both an art and a science. You can use a tape measure (or a length of string that you will have to hold up to a tape measure) to determine the length. Place the string or tape around your head about 1/8" above your ear, across the mid-forehead, completely circling your head. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tightly. Basically you need to measure your head exactly where the hat will sit. If your measurement falls between sizes, choose the next largest size.

8 - i have a big head and the "one size fits all" caps don't fit me.

Can't remember the size, 7 1/2 maybe. But I was told by a hat salesman that my head is a "long oval." Yes, I think that was it. Many hats look weird on me or I look weird in them. Say you guys know anything about hair whorls?

Many years ago, when I was young and reckless, my friends and I
had an altercation at a sawmill. To this day, I am not entirely confident
that the head they reattached is my own.
Assuming it is, then my head size is approximately 58cm.

If our heads got swapped, then I doubt I can give you an accurate answer,
since among the other friends involved in the accident,
one has since gone to the Antarctic to give polio vaccines to penguins,
and the other deleted his facebook profile.
