Obvious.
---
Me, around the age of 3 or 4. My style has evolved over the years, I drew simple stick figures, and then by the time I was in 7th grade, I got ahold of a How to Draw Garfield book and began drawing in Jim Davis' style, which I've been doing ever since.

I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil. My style has changed dramatically since then, and I've only recently began to get the results I want.

My Mother used to bring small coloring books to keep me from fidgeting during church. When I got bored coloring their pictures, I would tear open the offering envelopes provided in slots on the pew backs and use their pencil stubs to draw my own. I still have some things I drew preschool and in Kindergarten - the running theme at the time seems to have been armies firing cannons at each other across great gorges, with generic birds flying overhead.

Probably around the same age as you, but I was more serious about drawing around elementary school.

I might have started drawing at around preschool. I used to draw stick figures a lot, but started to improve my drawing skills at around 4th grade.

My first memory of drawing was in kindergarten where I learned how to draw a star without removing the pencil from the paper. I'm pretty sure I did other things in pre-school and elsewhere, but it's the first memory I have. The other kids were astounded that I had this lack of knowledge and they educated me. I promptly drew stars on all the things.

I don't know when I started. I was probably very little, like a toddler. It was probably on the wall with a pen my mom left lying around. My skills haven't improved much since then.

On a related note, I have some vivid drawing-related memories. I recall having an epiphany about the horizon when I was about 4, on my way to preschool in the morning. I used to draw the sky way up at the top of the page and the ground down at the bottom with a big expanse of blank paper in between where I'd put the houses, trees, people, etc.. Then I suddenly realized that there was no big blank space in real life. 8O

1 or 2, 3 latest? I don't recall a time when I did not draw in some form.

Cant remember much before age 6 but highly likely as in kindergarten I was drawing buildings as they looked on the out side. How ever I couldn't draw the inside of a room in 2d till 3rd grade my art teachers showed me about how to decide on the way lines should go inside a box.
I still can not draw faces but can draft any thing imaginable.

1,5 :)
I drew a picture of mum :P
A remarkable thing about it is that I drew a bellybutton, which is a unusual thing for young children to do.

Have been drawing ever since :)
