Israëli guitarist Yossi Sassi Saron of oriental metal band Orphaned Land. The man mastered as much as 17 instruments, all variants of guitars with Middle Eastern signatures. He can play the regular metal guitars and switch to traditional Arab or Jewish string instruments with ease. And a very down to earth, very friendly man ; had the pleasure of meeting him twice, really great guy. The number of instruments he plays with such ease is amazing.

"According to legend, as a young man living on a plantation in rural Mississippi, Robert Johnson was branded with a burning desire to become a great blues musician. He was "instructed" to take his guitar to a crossroad near Dockery Plantation at midnight. There he was met by a large black man (the Devil) who took the guitar and tuned it. The "Devil" played a few songs and then returned the guitar to Johnson, giving him mastery of the instrument. This was in effect, a deal with the Devil mirroring the legend of Faust. In exchange for his soul, Robert Johnson was able to create the blues for which he became famous"

Anyhow, my contribution is Mississippi Freddie McDowell who whilst might not be the fastest posted here, sure make my ears feel nice!

I like that one. Reminds me kind of Son House in his playing, mostly about the rhythm, wasn't the fastest either and I always fear watching him that he's going to miss a note, never really does though. Incidentally I think Son House was the guy who first told the story about Robert Johnson and the crossroads. Here he is doing a song that White Stripes covered.

She has some voice on her alright. The first song was reminding me of something and I remembered it was this:

I love the video too as you can hear the two old cars driving past in it.

In a similar segway with a mind to guitar greats, a great jam here with Gary Moore, B.B King and Luther Alison

On to Gary Moore with Phil Lynott (R.I.P. to them both)

A good video indeed.
And I love that female off-key accompaniment, on a similar vein, you might like Duster Bennett and Stella Sutton was just his girlfriend who used to join him on stage!
