How do you feel about a artist whom only becomes famous after they die? Me, I think it's a mockery of their life. As if to say you're only worth something when you're dead. I hope this never happens to me, but I for one am saying in my will to delete or burn all my art so I can truly be forgotten in oblivion.

The art world is something I just do not understand any more. One artist is famous for his huge objects that look like giant inflatable mylar poodles. I recently looked at one of those lists for Surreal art, and most of it made me shake my head. As for becoming famous after they die, I've alway chalked that up to the predatory nature of gallery owners.
I do admire Banksy, but mostly for his being a recluse and not a 'celebrity'.

Ah, so I must die in order for people to read my stories? (This is a rhetorical question by the way.)

I'm kinda worried about that, myself.
