Hi everyone! I'm writing a new book and I can't seem to be able to find a suiting title.

The book is about a team of young adults who in a twisted future, are the only ones who realize that the company who " takes care of everyone" is acting only to benefit themselves. These young adults need to find a small army to fight against this unspeakable evil.

Also I need feedback about if this is an original idea or not. Thanks WP! :D

I'll take your title into consideration. I'm still searching for different titles just to get some more options.

Based on the information I gave you, would you read this book?

You gave two sentences you?d need to give more information about the world, setting and events to entice me as these are the main questions I always ask in a story. I?d also need more info to think of a suitable title. My titles always come out much later in story development I didn?t have a title for the first until I nearly finished the story and thus knew what would embrace it.

It could be an original story you?d just have to develop it suitably. There are many different sources of originality the story idea isn?t original but this would be easily accommodated by setting, characters and increased plot complexity thus making the ?combination? original while the individual components might not be. By setting I refer to world design since I assume you?d use Earth I?d develop an interesting history to separate it from others and perhaps also alter the environment for more originality since I?d assume you?d want to keep the universe rules the same as ours and thus wouldn?t use that as a source of difference. Setting would also include technology. So it?s impossible to say as a whole if it?s original or not as I have no idea what your setting is, characters are, villain, plot complexity and even then of course writing style contributes greatly to originality and the way it is put forward and how each element is used.

Well thanks for the feedback.

Yes I was planning on using Earth but with a twist. The major city is a "peace loving place". They really only want to plunge America into total disaster. They do this by starting a war with China. This is a bad thing because they supply the US with almost everything.

Quite possibly - though to be honest with you, I read little sci-fi, preferring horror fiction.

The unspeakable evil has many bases of operation. It is called Raptor Co.

From what you gave it was a pretty generic dystopian plot.

War is a very common sci-fi/fantasy theme, and it's hard to make it original when there are black-and-white good guys and bad guys. There's a lot of potential tension and development depending on how it's actually written.

Mmm. I am not sure if this title is already taken or not but "The End of Paradise." would be one I'd use for this type of plotline. It's not exceptionally original but it does seem appropriate. Or like "The Last Day of Paradise" depending upon the time frame you're thinking for this story and whether or not you're going to maintain a happy mood throughout or make it a dark drama. For this type of story I always prefer dark brutal drama's that just tear the characters apart and push them to the edges of sanity. Of course a title also depends upon your target audience. You haven't said whether you're going for adults or making it acceptable to all ages.

I would figure a title from a reference to something possible relating to the major theme or elements of the story. I don't know what it would be beyond what you've described but here are suggestions.

Allegory of the Cave by Aristotle
Sun Tzu's Art of War.
Robin Hood
The American Revolutionary War
Hungarian Revolution of 1956
Animal Farm by George Orwell
The First Jewish-Roman War
