If I had a nickel for every time someone, be it a trans person (post-op or not), an LGB person, or someone else, invalidated my genital dysphoria, then damn! I'd have had the surgery already!
Meanwhile it sounds like you've likely discounted/invalidated every bit of potentially helpful advice people have given you and look where that's gotten you.. no nickels. Do as you've always down and get as you've always gotten. Be open to change, learning new things, growing, improving etc and you might just be able to work towards what you want out of life vs. remaining miserable. Your life, your choice.

Not my lawyer's advice, neither the advice of my therapist or endocrinologist on this.
The problem with those generic solutions is that I am a very unusual person. There are things that other people can do I never can do; I can't work 60 hours a week, especially if the job involves standing (I have very poor tolerance of just standing still; after 5 minutes my legs begin to tremble); I can't slum in a house with what are basically 5 strangers. My therapist recognizes this and accepts this, but people online always refuse to accept it.
Instead, it'd be better if they all got together and helped set up a surprise fund for me, or if America would just get over its sexual insecurities and recognize the god damn medical necessity of sex reassignment surgery, like just about every other civilized country!

One more thing. See this wiki article?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex_reassignment_therapy
Here's another problem with the trans community. They are sh***y when it comes to finding good medical sources to back their stuff up. When I first came upon this article in like November or December, it was a mess, with just horrible sources. I partnered with Mikhail Ramendik, a trans ally who advocates for medical coverage, who gave the article a much needed reorganization, while I provided the reliable secondary sources, the medical and psychiatric reference texts, to finally back this crap up! Everyone before us didn't have any clue what they were doing.
Just with the reference texts, they were screaming, this is something that people actually need, not just want! When will America listen?
Maybe I made a contribution by finally backing this s**t up in this Wiki article.

Indeed, everyone just assumes we should all basically feel the same way and can deal with it the same way as everyone else. I think it's worse with Asperger's/Autism mixed in... there is no empathy anywhere. Empathy is dead, nobody wants to admit that someone else could possibly be feeling entirely different in a whole different "zone" from other people's perspectives. It is all a loss, but I like to see your posts beneficii, to at least see one person on this forum with a similar zone parallel to mine.

This post feels like it's directed at me, so I'm responding to it as such.
I never said you should all feel & deal the same. I said there may be a biochemical reason why you feel the way you do & suggested you try some very simple experiments to see if they improve your mood. But rather than accepting helpful advice, you continue to seek out those who validate your opinions so that you can be oh-so-happy in your misery. Suit yourself, I suppose.
