Tomorrow will be my birthday. Today is my last day of childhood. I am definitely looking forward to being an adult. I just wanted to let you all know in case I'm busy and don't have time to use the computer. Turning 18 is a big milestone, and I bet I will handle anything that goes wrong maturely. I hope to improve my social skills this year as well. I have confidence in myself. Personally, I will miss being a child, but I enjoyed it. I think that I will have many more fun years to come. I will have to work towards my goals I mentioned before in the near future, but I will have no problem making an effort. I must say that I am proud to be legal. I hope you all have a great night.

Well happy birthday!

My 18th birthday fell on thanksgiving so it was an extra special day for me.

My 16th birthday was also special too. An early season snowstorm struck and school was cancled.

I find that I enjoy toys more as an adult than I ever did as a child, so don't get TOOO hung up on being grown up . . . also, don't expect everything to suddenly make sence now - I keep waiting on that to happen - adults seemed so knowledgable when I was a kid . . . I keep waiting to feel that way myself . . . I was talking to one of my favorite people to be around about this the other day and he said that he thinks there are about four people in the whole world who have any clue what is really going on and the rest of the world is just trying to survive . . . I have to agree . . .

Happy Birthday!

Of course, becoming an adult is a gradual process, despite the 18th birthday being the "official date". It is in fact the beginning of the road. I wish you a happy adulthood, Jason!

Happy 18th Birthday, Jason!

It doesn't seem quite right, but I turned 18 on Monday, July 17th, 1995.

Thank you for all your happy returns. I had a great birthday. I got many great gifts, one of which I can use very soon. We like to call it a "Pearlcorder." It is like a dictaphone in a way, but it has different, nonreusable tapes. I can record my voice anytime, and who knows? Maybe I'll send some of you a copy of me recording something. I may be able to convert it to mp3 format. Also, I may use it for some of my lectures so that I can hear the teacher talking. I also got many more interesting gifts that I can use in the near future. I just have to find a place to put all of them, though. I won't have time tonight, but maybe I can do that next week.

My 18th birthday was a memorable one.

I was just going to comment that the day is yet young, and I've decided to celebrate in your honour young Suh (hic) when I remembered that WrongPlanet seems to be ahead of this one I live on, and it's already Friday 24th where you are!

Is it a leg pull (and this poor demented ole codger hasn't got it yet) or have they shifted the international date line without telling me? Not that it matters, I'll have a drink (or twenty) to your good health anyway young Jason, and sit here pondering why you are so eager to fritter your youth away (when I'm still enjoying mine...hic!) and what does this "legal" mean? Being seventeen is illegal?

Well given the way these young sprogs fool around nowdays, that's not a bad idea; fetch me my Purdeys, rock salt load (but not too heavy, I'm in a generous mood as it's the young lad's birthday; I'll even give him a chance to buy me a drink before I decide where to shoot the blighter...not that I can be bribed, no Suh! Not even with a Johny Drum, nor a single barrel Jack Daniels, nor even a Glen Morray...did you say a sixteen year... {hush lad, I'm not entirely unreasonable! I'll just fire a couple in the air and you can yell and shout a little...})

Never forget that there is a big difference between being childish and childlike- carry the best parts of your youth into this next phase of your life.

Happy Belated Birthday
