I hate school so much I don't understand the people, I have virtually no friends and it's really stressful. But If your children are diagnosed with Asperger's it could in some ways be easier for example people in their class could be taught about it etc. I haven't got a diagnosis and am still trying to get enough courage to see my doctor. It could be because I can't explain to people why I'm different that they give me a hard time and I hate it so much. I think this made sense :) .

I don't really like my school. It's full of stupid people who only care about social status of others.

No, I don't like school, but my parents will never homeschool me because they think that not passing some time out of home with other people would worsen my social skills, and I think it's true.
It's not that I hate my classmates or my teachers; I just hate having to get up in the morning just to walk to the building, then coming back home and doing homework, studying, etc. I neither like learning, unlike I'm interested in the topic. Learning things I'm not interested in is very hard for me.

Very much really hate school, it is a horrible place!!
ALTHOUGH; I actually love learning and unlike all the kids there want to do something in the classroom. the learning environment sucks and learning is difficult and then there is also the neural typical social requirement of every day within every class by every student...

I really badly wish I could be home schooled...

I hate school, because of the lack of learning, all they do is beat the same thing in your head for 7 hours. If you want to learn, read a book for reliable information or the internet for quick access.

I dislike school immensly (although I do like learning). The days are unproductive, there's the underpaid teachers with attitude problems because of this (not to say there aren't some lovely teachers) and then there's things like assembly... There's also teachers/students bugging me about things like "why I don't smile" or why I don't sit with anyone, etc.

No they talk nothing of fish. I prefer studying by myself and reading about the salt tolerance of Guppies. Homeschooling has the disadvantage to an aspie because we get less social interaction.

Home-education doesn't have to mean less interaction, that's a myth.

There is quite a large home-ed community in our area, and they do meet ups and there are organised activities for home-edders too. Socialising depends on where you live (e.g. if you are somewhere remote you are going to be isolated, but that can even apply if you are at school) and what you make of it.

If you aren't cut out for school, being stuck with 30 odd other kids 5 days a week doesn't mean you are going to socialise. Break times can be the hardest times for kids with socialising problems (some are ostracised or unpopular) and the rest of the time you are working in the classroom.

It'a just that the educational-system is laughable. It shouldn't be stressful. And about social status, I used to hate that but now I know what the world is really like. If they EVER offend you, you've offended them first somehow. Probably because you got offended at sonething not meant to be offensive. Such a simple answer, never even considered. Sure, it seems wrong but people really aren't judgemental pricks. But unlike some professionals, we actually research human psychology since it is important in a utopia. Politicians don't seem to care in the least so clearly they are not interested in a fair world.

I'm kinda the opposite, I dislike learning at school because I don't care about anything they teach us, but I don't mind going to school.

I love school! :D Except the school are WAY to easy, so I pretty much go there to see friends. Getting an A there is like getting D in the Netherlands. I would recommend stay homeschooling, because your kids will learn lots more than with the school system. You could even thrive them to get a grade ahead of the schools.
