Okay so... I want to write a story about an autistic girl getting bullied in high school. I don't really know where to start with this. I know having her be called a ret*d is the main one. I've tried researching this, but it doesn't give me any examples. I just want to know what I can do make the story seem very realistic for someone with autism to be bullied everyday. Can someone maybe give me some examples of what bullying might be like for someone with autism? I only got bullied by my whole class, but it wasn't nearly enough to base anything off. (Most of the kids made up rumors about me never taking showers or victim blaming me for simply defending myself.)

This sort of reminds me of a short story I wrote for English class, except autism wasn't explicitly mentioned. In what ways do you want to include the character's autism in the story? What sort of examples are you looking for?

Like... I want examples on how she is bullied. Most of her autistic traits include rocking, stimming and her sensory issues. She also has poor motor coordination/motor skills as well and is very clumsy. This is one of the things that causes others to laugh at her because she'll often trip over her own feet. She also lacks social skills and probably only has one friend out of the entire school. She's takes three resource classes, a music education class and the rest of her time is spent being in a special education room during the morning and at the end of school.
That's all I've come up with for her so far. I have yet to think of a couple base interests for her.

Hmm, I don't know... name-calling, people mimicking her stimming or coordination, people intentionally doing things like making loud noises, touching her or spraying deodorant etc. to cause sensory distress, tripping her up and things like that then making out it happened because of her lack of coordination, confusing her by tricking her into doing things for them because she lacks the social skills to know that's what they're doing?
Sorry if none of those are helpful.

This is exactly what I was thinking of. I couldn't get anything in my head besides the name-calling and her getting laughed at because she trips over own feet a lot, bumps into things or some other poor coordination type thing that happens. Those ideas will help me a lot with my story.
