personally I feel there is no connection with the two. I have a friend who likes Gold and Silver, but as far as I know, he is not an Aspie

Pokemon can be enjoyed by both Aspies and NTs alike.

I was obsessed with every variety of Pokémon in my younger years, and even now I still play the games. I actually preordered Pearl. I think there is something about it that appeals to Aspies, but NT's seem to like it for different reasons. At least, that's my impression.

I used to like it, until I saw the immorality of enslaving animals to fight for people.

I was obsessed with Pokemon when I was younger. Although I think it's quite stupid now.

When I still played Pokemon, gold and silver (they're almost the exact same thing) where my favorite Pokemon game(s). It was also a lot longer in my opinion than Ruby or Sapphire version.

I loved it back in 1999 (when I was ten). My peers often called me the master since I knew every little fact about every one of them, I could name them all in order, I was excellent at the games, and I had billions of the products. However, once I entered middle school, I lost that obsession.

I was almost just like that. But I lost the obsession a year or two before going to middle school.

Same here. I don't know when I lost my obsession...

But then again, it came back after a while! God, I REALLY want to play Diamond and/or Pearl... but I don't have a DS... :(

Yeah, awesomely terrible. Sooner or later they end up flying through the air. I bet birds would be saying, "Oh, there goes Team Rocket again..." everytime they saw them flying through the air.

If you ask me, I liked their old motto better. No wonder Giovanni forgot who they are in the first episode of Season 10 (named after the new Pokemon games). I'd forget too if I had workers that ended every attempt to steal Pokemon with being hit by a Pikachu's Thunder and then being blown halfway across the region.

I used to like Pokemon when I was younger. But now, the game is just a memory. By the way, did you know that the creator of Pokemon, Satoshi Tajiri, has Asperger Syndrome. I read about it through Wikipedia. It showed me a list of people who were on the autistic spectrum and lo and behold, I found the name of the mastermind behind Pokemon: Mr. Tajiri.

I got into it toward the end of its popularity, when it started getting banned from schools. :P I got Yellow when I was nine, and Gold a year later. I kind of fell out of it for a year, then started playing when my cousins started playing again. I didn't stay around long enough for Ruby or Sapphire, but I got hyped up enough recently to buy Diamond.

I used to like the anime, but I eventually got annoyed by the dubbing. I don't like 4Kids.

It only came out here a year before middle school started, so yeah. I do remember liking it at the very beginning of sixth grade then, but that was it. Later on that year, we all got into Invader Zim instead. :P

Invader Zim was a good show, probably one of the best to every be on Nickelodean. But then it was cancelled. Putting a show like Invader Zim between The Fairly Odd Parents and Rocket Power wasn't a good ideo in my opinion.

Now going back to the topic. Pokemon really isn't as popular now as it was in the 1990's. Of course, when you have 4 Kids making a show, you know it's not going to be very good.

Every episode is pretty much the same. The main characters meet some people, some stuff happens, Team Rocket comes and gets defeated in the end, and then the credits roll.
