I have the most amazing boyfriend. <3 He's sweet, and he treats me the way I want to be treated. He knows about my autism, and he accepts me as I am, regardless of any disability I actually have. I love him so much. <3

I've had a couple odd relationships, but neither of them do I consider to have been my girlfriend.
The first one was this girl at regional church youth activity who was talking to me for a bit. I assumed she was just being friendly. I hadn't known her for 20 minutes before she suggested we go somewhere else (which I obliged simply because I didn't like the loudness of the music anyway, I didn't even think about what her reasons might be). She pulled me outside and wanted to walk holding hands, and at that point I felt dumb for not realizing where this was going but it was kind of too late to just run off. I didn't feel like I liked her but I felt bad saying it so I just went along with it. We sat on a bench and she was sitting really close and then put her head on my shoulder. I just kind of sat there not knowing what to do for like 5 minutes. Then we went back and when it was over I just left, I didn't want to have to say anything, especially after I went along with all that...
The other one, very long story, but to keep it short, I really liked her and she seemed to really like me. We did a lot of stuff that a couple would do, she would even want to cuddle sometimes, but that's the most we did. Still, most people assumed we were dating, and she got really mad about it. So then I tried to talk to her about if she liked me in a romantic way, and she would avoid the question over and over. When I finally got frustrated and asked her very directly why she was pretending to like me (there was a lot of stuff she did that led me to that conclusion, and I was right), she started calling me annoying and telling me I was way too emotional and that I act like a girl. She still would avoid answering and kept insulting me (though she did eventually say she didn't actually like me at all, and that she had no problem ditching me as a friend if I stopped being fun enough for her); I just wanted to know why she would pretend to like me, it still didn't make sense, but she just insulted me in response every time. She continued harassing me even when I told her to just leave me alone, I had to threaten her to make her back off. Not a fun experience, especially when I still had to see her and consciously avoid her almost every day for another 6 months afterwards.
