Lesbian/Gay penpals?
Hi all! This is an old thread, and if I get a reply, I don't really care if it's from someone who belongs to the lgbt+ community or not. But I do, so I thought it would be appropriate to put my ad here.
I'm a 34-year-old woman from Finland. I haven't been officially diagnosed, but I'm quite sure I'm on the autism spectrum. I have a family member who was diagnosed a few years ago. I'm a college student, but I really don't know if I'm ever going to be able to work in the field I've chosen. I have a female partner and a cat, but otherwise I'm quite lonely. Most of my interests are home-based, like snail-mail penpalling, postcrossing, watching documentaries and post-apocalyptic TV series, smashbooking and searching information about interesting subjects. I also like geocaching and treasure hunting with a metal detector. I've been interested in medicine and natural sciences since I was a kid.
I would love to have a couple of snail-mail penpals or postcard pals. You can live anywhere, but I'd like you to be at least 27 years old and female. I'm looking for a friend to share our ups and downs and our current interests. Also, if you decide to write me, you must understand and accept the fact that my English is far from perfect.
This thread was a great idea.
I am a 34-yr. old lesbian and I would like a lesbian penpal, starting with e-mail because I don't want to give out my home address to a complete stranger. I'm interested in discussing Linux, veganism, writing (fiction or non-fiction), math, logic, feminism, European classical music, standardized tests, LaTeX, autism and other general psychology, foreign language study, The X-Files, the original Twilight Zone, and whatever else is in my user info.
I don't mind answering questions about myself at all, but I don't like to talk about personal details or day-to-day routines very much. I'm outspoken and blunt, and my sociopolitical views are considered extreme.
Someone with very good reasoning skills and reading comprehension, an open mind, and the ability to take everything I say at face value is ideal.
