Be honest, i can handle it, probably. I don't seem to be able to talk to other girls other than in a friend capacity, how do you ever change that dynamic. Do i come across as not the kind of person interesting to girls?

Do you struggle with eye contact? I find that if you find someone attractive when you first see them, you should maintain eye contact for a little longer than usual and smile whilst greeting them i.e "Hello, I'm ______" then they introduce themselves and then *smile + eye contact". If they reciprocate than it usually sets the tone for the date. It's a way of saying: "I like you".
Also ask them questions about themselves. It shows you are curious and interested in them. When you run out of things to say, try to look them in the eyes and smile again. Try not too stare too much I suppose but occasionally maintaining eye contact during a pause in the conversation can help give a vibe of romantic interest. I think I am quite good at reading people's expressions.

Sorry if that sounded very obvious and patronising btw, sometimes I forget to smile at people when I greet them or sometimes I am too shy. I'm merely speaking from my own experience. Saying that, sometimes I do it without thinking because the person is very smiley so I automatically smile back.
