I was hoping for a bit of luck this semster with housing arangments like I did last semster when I managed to get a room to myself the whole semester and still pay the double rate (snickers).

However, today on my mail pile was an envelope from oshkosh. In it was a new roomate assignment for the upcoming year.

I recognize the name, but I don't know if I know this person directly. I just know he's in the same degree program as I am so there is at least some commonality.

That may not be bad after all, Scott.

Hopefully, having the same major will give you some common ground. Also, I found people who are in the same area of study also share similar personalities, well, at least the ones who take their studies seriously.
