Anyone here write comedy for their own act or others.

I do comedy with music, ventriloquism and silly props.
I mention in my act that although I write and do comedy I don't always get jokes. After programs people often come up to share their jokes. I'm getting better about politely listening.

I usually reference it (the following video)after playing a more serious piece on my harmonica. (Such as Beethoven's
Ode to Joy. I then play the song using technique in video. )
