I started reading comics aka Graphic Novels when they cost 12 cents.
The last 10 years I have found and read things I wasn't expecting. They include
Johnny Cash
The Carter Family
and the one I just checked out from a library
Superman versus Muhammad Ali
I may have read it back in 1978 but I can't remember. Please no spoilers about the Ali book.
