I've been seeing a lot of posts here lately about the history and origins of heavy metal music, so I thought I'd make a thread devoted to the early days of the genre.
Here's a great example of an early metal band that were well ahead of their time. The audio quality is quite poor and raw-sounding, but in a way I think it actually adds to it.

According this Metal Archives this may or may not be fake, Kissing Spell has a reputation. If it's legitimate, they really were ahead of their time.
