Here is a non-fiction article which I read, which, ironically, says reading Fiction is good for the brain!

I don't know if this article is enough to get me to start becoming a fiction novel lover though.
If reading fiction affects brain connectivity, then what effect does reading non fiction have?
I think our brains are wired differently than fiction novel lovers.

the last time i read a fiction book was about ten years ago, and it was the lord of the rings. i probably wouldn't have been able to read it if i hadn't seen the movies first. if i can't think of what i'm reading from an analytical perspective (history, anthropology, linguistics, etc), then it's like a soulless string of words to me, with no sequence or continuity. i simply don't have the kind of imagination it takes to enjoy written fiction

The most recent non-fiction books I've read were Andy Warhol Was A Hoarder: Inside The Minds Of History's Great Personalities {for those who always have had an interest in mental health and/or psychology} and The Eve Of One Hundred Midnights{for those who love reading about real-life romances}.
