I am posting 45 RPM era hit songs whose hitmaking artist had two (or more , in Elton's case ! !!) seperate hitmaking versions of that same song , not just that they re-recorded them but that both versions could be termed " hit record/single " versions ~ Y'dig ????????? (If so , could you explain it to ME :P ?????????)
Ideally(??) , you will vote for one each of the five choices I've given you . (So why'd I list SIX votes then ?????????)
Yeah , I know , this is really obscure/" older demos " here , I REALLY need to find a good oldies type-of board :x :) !

I would pick Clapton. Love the original, AND love his "unplugged" remake. The second version is so different than the first that it justifies being remade. Its slower, and more pleading sounding. The more I think about it the more second version is really better.
