Whenever I ask people to rate my femininity or I ask people if I look weird they always tell me to wear more makeup and look up YouTube tutorials. I hate the makeup that's in style right now. It just looks tacky and all the same. If I were to wear Instagram style makeup, I'd probably look extremely middle eastern and girly.
The makeup I wear is a bit of contouring to make my face look less round and some black eyeliner to make my eyes look sharp and predatory. I'm not extremely girly and I think my makeup reflects that.

As people keep asking you, you need to put a photo of yourself in every thread you make about your appearance, even just a link to your photos. It's starting to get annoying because you expect us to remember what you look like.

You don't look particularly Middle Eastern to me and I don't know how make-up would make you look Middle Eastern unless unless you are using something that darkens your tan.

You are a white girl, and you look like a white girl. I know that isn't what you want to hear, but I don't recommend attempting to use some kind of blackface to appear otherwise. Some people could find it quite offensive.
Why don't you do some research on the Celts or the Vikings or some other group of white people? Try to turn your obsession with race towards a people you can more safely and reasonably mimic.

I find women with minimal make up much prettier, I like girls as they are closer to their natural state, I like girls that accentuate and enhance their faces don't get me wrong but I like seeing them closer to their baseline whatever that means.

You don't need more makeup. Natural appearances are better. ^^

I'm unsure what you look like. But I say you do you. If you like the way you look with what makeup you do wear go for it. It's nice to look at YouTube Makeup Tutorials for ideas but that's about it imo.

Most YouTube makeup tutorials do looks I really don't care for.

You were interested in Scandinavian languages at one time.

Your smarts appeal to the "right" type of guy.

Awkward makeup attracts the types you don't really care for.

I would like you better if you would cultivate your intellectual side.

One of the things that are part of the whole contouring makeup trend is to wear foundation darker than your actual skin tone. Well, at least that's how I see it done on Instagram. It's cringeworthy and I can't wait for the trend to go away.

I definitely agree with you there. A lot of makeup makes people look less human, which I find unattractive.

Maybe you are asking the wrong people because makeup doesn't equal femininity. I rarely wear makeup and I dress for comfort without looking frumpy. Makeup is just a mask, it will not cover up what is going on in the inside. Do you feel feminine on the inside?

Why do you ask people to rate your femininity? I think you look pretty and feminine enough in your picture, but really I wouldn't take advice from other people on how much makeup to wear or how to wear it. You know how you want to look, so just go for that; after all, if you're not comfortable then what's the point. I wear eyeliner and mascara and that's it, nobody else gets a look-in when it comes to deciding how I present myself. As somebody else said, you do you :)

No one in society has ever told me I must wear makeup to look good.

Many guys wear makeup.

I couldn't spend 2 hours on my make up if I tried.

I don't think anyone else cares at all about whether or not I paint my face.

Just you do you.

Don't worry about what other people like or find attractive what do you like? If you like make up then wear it, if you don't then don't.

Feminity is in the eye of the beholder and doesn't equal beauty. I'm not very lady like but love makeup so make make up won't make you more feminine if you still sit wth your legs open :)

I'm 52 (egads!)

I rarely if ever wore/wear make up.

I do get my eyebrows shaped, and a little pale lipstick one in a while.

If you do not have a have a really good skin care routine, make up can beat up your skin and age it. My sister is a heavy make up user. She is two years younger than me. Doesn't smoke (which will really age your skin), but she looks older than me. Her skin is more wrinkled (not horrible), but mine looks better.

Sunscreen is all my one friend uses when she goes out 90% of the time, and drinks plenty of water. If it is a true party event, little powder, little mascara, little lipstick. She never does the Kim Kardtrshian 85 pounds of foundation and contouring. She looks great for being 56.

If you are not doing a photo shoot or television, why both? I don't want all those minerals and preservatives on my skin.

Believe me, at 50 most of my friends are doing botox and fillers. I am so glad to dodge that mess.
