If you were stuck in a time-loop (like Groundhog Day where no one else remembers) what would you do with unlimited time? I've been thinking about this a lot after reading "Replay" by Ken Grimwood and reading "All You Need Is Kill" (turned into the movie "Edge of Tomorrow").

I'd build very tall sandcastles studded with sultry shells all day until they fell down over night and I'd watch the sun rise and set on crumbling empires that existed in the blink of an eye just like the real empires forged and undone on this hurtling globe will seem to those outside of that tepid rollercoaster of Time, actually I would find a way to link the loop to another time loop nearby in the ether where it's winter on repeat so I could go and build igloos, the tide is on a loop but the sun's meddling can be tamed by the prison of seasons, it still finds a way to win because the moon yanks the sea and the sun shines meekly on ol' craterface.

I'd do things I usually wouldn't do at first. Like go to a bar, night clubs, go to places that most say are off-limits for curiosity. Then, I would try to find a balance in me after doing those things.

Initially, I thought it would depend on what day I was stuck in. But after a number of loops I think that would become redundant (if stuck in a true, endless loop). After testing the boundaries and satisfying a number of indulgences; I'd alternate between skateboarding, music and coaxing my wife in to ditching work so we can hang out.

Furthermore: I think, given long enough, with the changing perception of time; eventually I'd acquiesce to a form of auto-pilot. I'd just live out the day as intended for large portions of my unlimited time, deviating as and when I can be bothered.

I'd wonder when I entered the twilight zone, and probably be frustrated because living the same day over and over again would be boring.
