The only reason I know is because that's something they test when you're pregnant, and my Dad knows his only because he is a transplant patient. You might be able to just ask your GP; I'm not sure if it's something they routinely look at during any generic kind of blood test.

Found out years ago as a blood donor. It was also checked as routine during pregnancy - my daughter's inherited my blood group.

O negative. I always feel like I should be donating since my type is the universal donor, but I can't stand blood tests. Or doctors. So I'm being selfish and keeping it all to myself! Sorry!
