In the war of the chosen expansion, can you rename and customize the appearance of the reaper, templar, and skirmisher hero characters, or are they static/predefined like the base game's hero units (Sid Meier, etc)?

Firstly, this is DEFINITELY the wrong place to ask, when it comes to super-specific questions. We dont have many PC gamers here, in particular. Let alone ones that play any really specific game.
I have the game, but I'm not all that familiar with the expansion. I can say this though: I wouldnt expect much in the way of customization. The game simply isnt known for it or about that. Not unless you're using boatloads of mods... which usually dont support the expansion.
But if you want a more accurate answer, go ask on the game's forums. Either the Steam forums, or on the game's actual site if it has somewhere you can ask.
