I enjoyed the 'Euro Disco' of the late 1970s. Here in the U.S., singer Donna Summer was the best known for her excellent performances of Euro-Disco.

According to the listing of Eurodance (LINK), present-day Eurodance provides minor Euro-Disco influences. Present-day Eurodance also has some Rap influences. Again, coming of age in the Euro-Disco (and just plain old Disco) era, I'm not impressed with Rap.

I know a thirty-four year old who says there is "good" Rap (that they enjoy) and well....not so good Rap. I mentioned the same thing with the Disco-era; that is there was "good" Disco (which I enjoyed), and the "bad" Disco that I, and many other people loved to hate!

I remember some to the Euro influences (and artists from Europe) in the 1980s, which where once again, often welcome additions in the 1980s U.S.

Each generation is influenced by whatever styles are notable!
