I went to my first meetup and I was the only person there. Their was supposed to be three other people, even the organizer was looking forward to meeting me. I left after an hour.

What kind of meet up? Was it a counseling session?
If it was and if you felt anxiety, then perhaps the others that intended to show up changed their mind at the last minute due to stress.

That sucks, man. The organizer didn't even cancel before the meeting time?? Those groups can be so hit or miss.

That does sound pretty weird. I went to a book club for a while and we always had people show. Maybe it was a very small one, or Meet Up isn't too active in your city?
