Listening to Ray Conniff on THC
...I am now listening to The Ray Conniff Singers ~ " I'm Sorry " ~ The mid-70s John Denver hit!! !! !! !! !! ! From a complete 70s album by RC, with umpteen mid-70s Top 40 covers!! !! !! !! !! ! Neat!! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! (Okay, I did have some edible THC ~ some Fritos-type jalepeno/lime chips ! !! " Everything sounds better when you're...") Now they're doing Janis Ian's " At Seventeen ".
If I ever do get a real place and a turntable set-up, I think I'll collect vintage RC LPs - they always had these neet-o covers of nice female models (G/PG-rated - Really. I'm not that kind of boy!! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !(OH, YEAH?) ), if you remember.........
THis was meant to be in the " Listening To..." thread but I forgot to click the right button. Maybe this'll get more responses this way!
Now it's Sedaka's " Solitaire ". Rather a bummer song!! !! !! !! ! Maann.
They did " Rhinestone Cowboy "...with an extra lyric line that wasn't in the Glen Campell version!! !! !! !! !! ! Heavy, man . Maybe it was in the original song as written?
Speaking of Ray Coniff cover models, th' goil on this one is shone unclothed ~ It's entirely above the ta-tas so I suppose it's PG definitely, anyway . It's a medley of " How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You) " and " Love Will Keep Us Together ", which is the title track of the album!
Oh, wow, man, I see PICTURES in the CEILIN G! They're MOVING...
