Wow. Stereotyping much?

Um the problem is their absolute ridiculous stereotyping.

If they don't want to be stereotypes then they should quit acting like it.

stereotyping isnt about where the person is from. its about a closed/lacking mind. then again, i am not an american, so probably should f**k off this thread ^^

I'm starting to feel the same about Wrong Planet in general.

They were seriously telling me bs about men in kilts. Um... Nobody in Scotland is like that. Well aye ok, the tourist people or old guys in the highlands are but nobody I actually know.

I specifically said 'if you're not Scottish you won't understand'.

I'm a stereotype in some ways but they don't understand what sort of stereotype I am.

well if somebody hits me with a stereotype (and that happens often), i give them 1 harsh warning) if that wasnt enough to wake up their brain, i cut contact. but also sometimes ppl make jokes about stereotypes without actually MEANING the stereotype. and ya that can be annoying too. in russia, trying to label and stereotype everything, is also called "square-slot thinking". (translating the term best i can, ofc). its quite a derogatory definition here.

Stereotypes don't bother me , I'm Welsh so I always joke about sheep when I'm stereotyped.

People who are nice enough in 'real-life' often come across as the most smug, patronizing and loathsome people around on social media. I know quite a few such people.
