Maybe because I was an 80s kid, I would say the 1980s. Three of my favorites are “Take On Me” by a-ha, “Money for Nothing” by Dire Straits, and “Sledgehammer” by Peter Gabriel.

The late 70s and 80’s had the most innovative videos. Besides those mentioned above you had mega innovative videos by a Kate Bush, Bowie, Tom Petty’s “Don’t Come Around Here No More”. But the decade also featured soft core porn, objectifying, and misogynistic videos.
