since my psychiatrist told me to go see one cause I might have Asperger's. We really didnt talk about Asperger's much just about my job, about me, and my ADD. He said he wanted my test results in school from when I was in school a few years ago. I go back again in two weeks. My Psychiatrist said a phychologist works with more dealing with more feelins rather then your mental health or giving meds. So how will this Dr work with me? I never had a gf before is that up to me to find one? I want a hot one.

Psychiatry is basically dealing with mental problems with medication while psychology is dealing with mental problems without medication - like by just talking and cognitive therapy and all that. I want a hot girlfriend also. I've found that waiting for a girl to come to you doesn't work at all.

LetsGoBlues, again, I'm going to have to recommend not posting the pictures of the girl you're obsessing over on the Internet. Think about it like this: Would you like a casual acquaintence (who you may or may not like romantically) to post a picture of you so that strangers from all over the world can hear about how someone is obsessing over you? Maybe you would, but I'd wager the girl in that picture wouldn't.

By the way, a good diagnosis of Asperger's syndrome or autism should be very thorough, covering developmental history from infancy onwards. It includes a battery of psychometric tests and psychological interviewing to determine social, communicative, and imaginative deficits; sensory issues; executive function concerns; comorbidities; and intellectual strengths and weaknesses.

You have two perseverative interests, at least, but whether these alone justify a diagnosis of Asperger's syndrome is hard to say. What I can say, at least, is posting pictures of coworkers online isn't such a good idea.

is there the slightest chance that you will NOT reply to a post with something about hot chicks, letsogoblues?

it's getting more dreary and offensive by the minute.

I went to the Psychologist today again. We talked about my problems I had in school and a little about AS. He emailed my parents info on AS. My mom said she read it but she told the Doc that not all of it fit me cause I am smart, and I'm more shy then anything not really anti social. He said that there is no real test to show that you have AS. More writing my history down ect to come up with a better conclusion. He even said it could be more of my ADD or it could be more learning problems I had when I was in school. I do know I have add. I go to my psychiatrist again next week. My psychiatrist said I have some social problems cause I dont have a gf. thing is if I want a gf she needs to be a pretty looking one.

A great number of those with Asperger's Syndrome have an above average intelligence and plenty of them are not anti-social, or are anti-social in some respects and not others.

"Historical famous people," "Historical people prominent in the late twentieth century (died after 1975)," and "Contemporary famous people"

I posted the above link in another thread.

I did read however many famous people have ADD. Robin Williams, Ozzy Osbourne, Jim Carey and Al Gore. I read that Al Gore was taking Ritilan at the time and they told him not to tell when he signed up for the Military. AL Gore would make a great President. better then this Kerry loon.
