This just be a poem I wrote about 8 months ago called obviously, "The Letters."

The Letters

Dear my long lost friend
Remember our blissful childhood?
Blowing dandelions
Being grossed out at the thought of girls
Ah when it was so good to be seven
And youthful
Dear my long lost friend
Remember our troubled teen years?
I was left out of everything
You had two Miller Lites a day
Then I made it three
All of the girls that envied us
Oh but then
We turned 21
Dear my long lost friend
Remember the rest of our lives?
Right when we left college
We swore by blood never to forget each other.
For awhile we never did
Even when I was in our country
And you flew to Europe
Each of us getting married
Having a kid a piece.
It was the good life
But know I kneel here in my 30’s
While you were robbed of your life at 25.
People still don’t know why
But I still write these to you
My long lost friend.

No problem. Oh, and just so that people are aware of something, this is not based on anything in particular in my life. As said before I'm only 15, it's just that most of my poems are fictional.

Good poetry. :) It seems that poetry (or song), rather than prose, has more power over the human emotions.

That's true. It seems like many people with some kind of autism can express their emotions in some kind of art, and in my case, I like to do it with poetry. Sometime's however songs can be cliched and say the emotion the wrong way, or say the same things over and over again, and I'll admit it cliches happen so often that I'll be a part of it at times. But yeah, poetry definetely rocks the hizzouse. :D
