Just wondering if it was an Aspie thing to hate Eragon and Eldest, like I do, or are there Aspies who like them (shudder)?

I only read Eragon, and it was ok. I've read better I've read worse. I've put off reading Eldest for now.

I read them. Just eh. It's exactly like every other fantasy book. The only remarkable thing about them was the age of the author, which frankly wasn't that remarkable.

The age of the author was also directly related to their being like every other generic fantasy, of course.

I do like dragons, although the movie version of Eragon wasn't all that good film-making wise... however the way Saphira was rendered was absolutely beautiful! *eeee* It was a pleasure to watch just for the dragon.

Otherwise the series is rather full of cliché

XD

I haven't read the books, haven't seen the movie, but this article more or less sums up the opinion I'm sure I'd have.

Eragon was a book?

I paid good money to see such a s**t film...no offense guys.

The only clever thing about that film is they replace is the D with an E. ;)

Eragon and Eldest are some of my fave books. I'm not watching the movie though. It looks crap

Eragon & Eldest both look like big ripoffs of The Lord of the Rings.
