Deg is Japan's biggest metal import, but it's a gross oversimplifcation to call them "J-rock" or "Metal." They're one of my favorite bands.

Saw 'em twice at the Wiltern in LA. The first show had Opiate for the Masses opening for them. Absolutely fantastic show, even if we did have to wait 10 hours in line to get in the door.

Second show the opening acts weren't as good, and the crowd was tired from waiting all day outside (it was cold), but they did a good set.
