My Cat, who is also acting as my personal Psycho-Analyst, informs me that in her opinion I am a Mental Defective, which in itself is no great tragedy since a quick scan of the Media will quickly show that this is the current status quo of general Humanity. The real tragedy is that those individuals of the Human Species who are born relatively sane come to realise at an early age that the situation is beyond repair and that they haven't got a chance in Hell of making any difference, and subsequently tie themselves into a sack and throw themselves into the river.

(I think that she goes through brief periods of what could be called 'Extreme Sarcasm')

in cats' opinions, ALL humans are mentally defective, Katze. unless they're opening the catfood, that is.

if these sarcastic episodes continue, however, i should think about having words with her, about what would happen to her if you got too depressed at her words, and were unable to wield a tin opener...

your cat talks a lot more sense than most of the human psychologists i've met. perhaps this is the dawning of a new era in psycho-therapy.
