Back Pain
Hi,
I am a physics student and suffer a little from back pain. Well I used to spend long hours studying and was not practicing exercise. Then I developed back pain. The doc said I had an disk hernia but it was no serious. "Everyone in your age has something like that".
It took quite some time to recover. I practised pillates, hidrogynmastics, then exercise program for people with back pain in my college and now regular gym which I take very seriously. Finally when I recovered I could also return to Muay Thay.
The question is is too bad for your back to spend long hours seated? I have to study a lot and I like that. I also do a lot of stretching that I leard on physiotherapy and also take Zyphrezia which is a medication that acts as a
relaxant.
I used to say that I liked to study 14-16 hours straight and people said I was crazy.
A couple days ago I studied 8 hours seated amd the a cople o hours on my bed.
What should I do?
Study only 8-10 hours a day and be healthy.
Try to study more. After the eight hour on the bed to not put strain on the back.
Are long hours seated too unhealthy? I don't see other people making this complaint.
Thanks
