I'm in the middle of appointments for an eye problem I've been having in the past 3 or 4 months. The last time I went I got tested to see what is wrong with my eye, and I've been given special eye drops to take until my next appointment, when I will see the consultant, but it isn't until late April.
I have heard that they are suspending all cancer treatment to make room and time for coronavirus patients, so if essential life-saving treatment like that is being cancelled then I suppose my eye treatment will be cancelled too, which is essential too because whatever I have wrong might affect my vision, which frightens me.
My eye treatment appointments are not in a hospital exactly, but at an eye clinic. But I'm still worried that my appointments are going to be cancelled due to prevention of spreading coronavirus.
I can't seem to find any information on the internet about the current circumstances at primary care clinics.
What are people like me to do? I can't lose my vision.
