This is why I don't want to do all of my shopping online and I panic when people say that this pandemic will end all of retail (despite the shops being open). If hackers can get into one's computer data that easily via trojan installation or whatever then who knows how much all of your different accounts for different shops are at risk? I rather just go into shops and do the shopping rather than doing everything behind a screen at the risk of exposing my money to the web. No thank you.

After 9 years of being on Facebook this is the first ever time it has been hacked, so I don't know much about why or how people hack into other people's Facebook accounts, but I do know that there are more hackers out there than there ever was.

I agree to a point. I think online shopping is fine as long as you use proper security (like 2 factor authentication apps and things) and only shop with reputable well known businesses. You can get pretty much anything on amazon these days, and you know its safe, theres really no need to use any other online shops.

Nothin like going into a proper brick and mortar shop and getting what you need then and there though with cash.

I think I know what could have got my account hacked into now. A few days ago another Facebook friend shared a (believable) link about being able to see who's viewing your profile, and tagged everyone in her friends list, and I've figured it was not her that posted it, but a hacker that had got into her account. I had stupidly clicked on the link and downloaded an app on to my phone, so I think that's what caused my account to be hacked into. I've deleted the app now and I hope that has removed their ability to hack into my account again.
