Do you think the world is falling apart?

Aside from the pandemic and all the civil unrest that is going on, do you think that we are seeing the fall of humanity and civilization? Before this pandemic began, I have heard of a lot of people around me who have committed suicide and suffer with anxiety and depression. The CDC has reported that suicide has been increasing over the last 20 years. More people than before seem to be struggling with some mental health issues. We have also seen a lot of mass shootings in recent years. There is also ongoing concern about climate change in the future. Birth rates have been falling in first world countries. I think with this pandemic, it is making all the problems that we were dealing with before even worse. Millions of people have lost their jobs, 800,000 people worldwide have lost their lives to this virus, mental health problems and suicide are increasing because of this pandemic, and we've been seeing riots all across the United States for police killings of unarmed black men. We keep hearing about how jobs are going to be automated in the future and no one will have a job. I really see no optimism for the future of this world with everything that is currently going on. I've heard some experts say that humanity will cease to exist by the year 2100.

automated jobs just means we'll have more free time.

If that happens they'll have to figure out a universal basic income though.

Climate change, the collapse of the biosphere and an economic system that is essentially an unsustainable pyramid scheme will sooner or later result in the collapse of our current civilisations worldwide. Humans are unlikely to die out completely though, but for the good of the planet I would personally prefer that we did over the next couple of centuries. It certainly feels at the moment as though we are accelerating ever faster towards the collapse.

I can see the stats, so called evidences, human actions and neglect, conspiracies and more nonsense.

... Still don't feel the same as others do as if the world is falling apart. I also don't exactly don't see it that way either.

I'd say the world is not falling apart, but certain charades and broken systems do and are being exposed.
It's always what I'm looking forward to -- like a phenomena of sorts.

I think humanity is royally boned. I'm seriously majorly worried for disabled people(like me & my girlfriend & other people on the spectrum) & seniors living in the police state of America because Social Security will be bankrupt in a few years. LOTS of poor people will die due to starvation, illness, & violent crime.
